DUI ADSAC Assessment

When your driver’s license is suspended or revoked due to DUI, DWI, DUID, or Possession of CDC, the Oklahoma Statute 47-6-212.2 requires you to complete some educational courses. These range from a 10-hour ADSAC course to an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). To determine which intervention level to place you in, you will meet with a Certified ADSAC Assessor to review some assessment questionnaires and answer a few other questions the Assessor might ask. The Assessor will provide you with a recommendation and referrals for the intervention level recommended. When you have completed the recommendation, you will provide the assessor with proof of completion to obtain your red stamp. Sometimes, if you meet specific criteria, you might leave the Assessor’s office with your Red Stamp. Learn More

Red Stamp (Certificate of Completion)

To get your license reinstated after it has been revoked or suspended due to a DUI, DWI, APC, DUID, or Possession of a CDC, the Department of Motor Vehicles will need to see a certificate of completion from a Certified ADSAC Assessor. This certificate of completion is also known as the Red Stamp. To obtain your red stamp, you must have completed what the Assessor recommended during your assessment, or already completed a prior intervention that meets or exceeds your assessment recommendation. Sometimes, you might not need to do more than the assessment to obtain your red stamp if you meet specific criteria. These criteria are provided on the FAQs.

Court Ordered Alcohol and Drug Evaluation

On certain occasions, the judge might order you to complete a drug and alcohol assessment even though your case is not related to driver’s license revocation or reinstatement. In this case, you will also meet with a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor to go through an assessment process, after which you will receive a recommendation or a court report, depending on individual cases. If DHS orders your assessment, please ensure they do not require you to complete the ODASL. That is a different kind of assessment that we currently do not offer.
